Congratulating CPES graduate - Jing Xu

Jing Xu completed her Ph.D. program in December 2008.  Her dissertation, "Technology for Planar Power Semiconductor Devices Package with Improved Voltage Rating," is now available online to CPES Principal Plus, Principal and Associate members via password access.

Jing Xu received her B.S. and M.S. degree from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China in 2000, and 2003 respectively, both in electrical engineering. She began her Ph.D. study at Center for Power Electronics Systems (CPES), Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in August, 2003, and completed her work in December 2008. In August 2008, Jing joined ABB Inc. in Raleigh, NC as a Power Electronics R&D Engineer.

Jing enjoys life with her cat, fish and flowers.
