Power Electronics Short Courses at CPES-VT - Summer 2008
One of the missions of CPES is to provide the opportunity for practicing engineers to broaden their knowledge base and stay updated on new technologies by offering professional short courses that will provide a clear understanding of the fundamental principles and a working knowledge of current technology and applications.
In Summer 2008, CPES-VT is offering 3 power electronics short courses designed for professional engineers:
1. EMI Reduction for Power Electronics Systems, July 31 - August 1, 2008 - A 2-day short course with course instructors: Drs. Fred C. Lee and Shuo Wang. 2. Modeling & Control Design of DC/DC Converters, August 4 - 8, 2008 - A 5-day short course taught in a combined lecture/lab format. Course instructors: Drs. Fred C. Lee and Dushan Boroyevich. (This course is limited to 16 participants to ensure proper access to workstations in the lab sessions.) 3. Design of DC/DC Converters and Voltage Regulator Modules (VRMs), August 11 - 13, 2008 - A 3-day short course, with course instructors: Drs. Fred C.
