Power Electronics Concentration at Virginia Tech

To help alleviate the severe shortage of power electronics engineers, the Bradley Department of Electrical Engineering has established a power electronics concentration for undergraduates majoring in Electrical Engineering at Virginia Tech. The new concentration is listed on student transcripts and works within the ECE 15-credit-hour technical elective requirement. Required and elective courses for the option range from controls and microelectronics to power electronics and alternate energy systems.
