CPES Undergraduate Research Assistantships

CPES Undergraduate Research Assistantships provide support to students who demonstrate both promise and skill in engineering research. Not limited by academic discipline, CPES Undergraduate Research Assistants can participate in one or more of the following research areas: power devices, electronic packaging, CAD tools, digital signal processors, analog electronics, power conversions or motor drives and control.

Undergraduate Power Electronics Concentrations

During its first years of operation, CPES has advanced initiatives designed to strengthen the presence of power electronics in undergraduate degree programs, and to encourage undergraduate participation in research. Undergraduate concentrations in power electronics have been established at Virginia Tech, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and the University of Puerto Rico-Mayagüez.
