Congratulating CPES graduate - Shuilin Tian
Shuilin Tian completed his M.S. program in April 2012. His defense presentation and thesis, "Small-signal Analysis and Design of Constant-on-time V2 Control for Ceramic Caps," are available to CPES members via password access.
Shuilin received his B.S degree from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2008. He joined the Center for Power Electronics Systems (CPES) at Virginia Tech in August 2009 to pursue his M.S. studies, focusing on modeling and digital control. Upon graduation, Shuilin will continue his Ph.D. studies in CPES.
His research interests include modeling and control of converters, digital control techniques for power converters, and low-voltage high-current conversion techniques.
In addition to power electronics, Shuilin also likes music, swimming, skiing, hiking, running, orienteering and other various outdoor activities.
