Congratulating Qiang Li - CPES graduate, now research faculty

Qiang Li completed his Ph.D. program in August 2011. His defense presentation and dissertation, "Low-Profile Magnetic Integration for High-Frequency Point-of-Load Converter," are available online to CPES Principal Plus, Principal and Associate members via password access.

Qiang received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Zhejiang University, China, in 2003 and 2006, respectively, all in electrical engineering with power electronics specialization.

He joined the Center for Power Electronics Systems (CPES) in August 2006 as a Graduate Research Assistant to pursue his Ph.D. studies, with a research focus on high-frequency high-density electronics and magnetic integration. Upon graduation, he is staying to work with CPES as a Research Assistant Professor.

His research interests include high-density electronics packaging and integration, high-frequency magnetic component, high-frequency power conversion, and distributed power systems.
