|
Xiao Cao completed his Ph.D. program in May 2011. His defense presentation, “Optimization of Bonding Geometry for A Planar Power Module to Minimize Thermal Impedance and Thermo-Mechanical Stress,” is currently under review by sponsor and temporarily unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience!
His dissertation will be made available when it is finalized.
Xiao Cao received his B.S. degree from Wuhan University, Wuhan, China, in 2002 and his M.S. degree from the National University of Singapore, Singapore, in 2005, both in electrical engineering. From 2005-2007, he worked for Chartered Semiconductor, Inc. (now GlobalFoundries, Inc.) as a Product Engineer, where he was in charge of yield analysis for 65 nm logic products.
He joined the Center for Power Electronics Systems (CPES) in August 2007 to continue his Ph.D. studies and focused on the packaging and integration of power electronics systems. Upon graduation, he is joining Philips Lighting in Rosemont, Illinois, as a Design Engineer.
