Congratulating CPES graduate - Penjie Lai


Pengjie Lai
completed his M.S. program in February 2010. His thesis and defense presentation, "Improvement of Sigma Voltage Regulator — A New Power Architecture” are available online to CPES Principal Plus, Principal and Associate members via password access. 

Pengjie was born in Shishi, Fujian Province, China, in 1983. He received his Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2006. Since Fall 2007, Pengjie has been working toward his M.S. degree at the Center for Power Electronics System (CPES) at Virginia Tech, and completed his work in Feb 2010. Pengjie will join Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) in California as an Application Engineer in March 2010.

Pengjie like sports, especially playing basketball, traveling.
