Congratulating CPES graduate - Chuanyun Wang

Chuanyun Wang completed his Ph.D. program in July 2009. His dissertation, "Investigation on Interleaved Boost Converters and Applications” is available online to CPES Principal Plus, Principal and Associate members via password access.
Chuanyun was born in Nanjing, China, in 1977. He received his Bachelor and Master degrees in Electrical Engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, China, in 1999 and 2002, respectively. In Fall 2002, he joined the Center for Power Electronics Systems (CPES) at Virginia Tech to pursue his Ph.D. studies and completed his work in July 2009. In August 2009, Chuanyun joined FSP-Powerland Technology in Nanjing, China, as the Deputy Director of the company's Generation Technology Center (GTC).
Chuanyun enjoys reading, swimming, basketball, volleyball, skiing, and scuba diving.
