Congratulating CPES graduate - Yan Dong

Yan Dong completed his Ph.D. program in July 2009. His dissertation, "Investigation of Multiphase Coupled-Inductor Buck Converters in Point-of-Load Applications," is available online to CPES Principal Plus, Principal and Associate members via password access.
Yan was born in Shenyang, Liaoning, P. R. China in 1979. He received his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering in 2001, and his Master of Engineering degree in Power Electronics in 2003, both from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China.
Yan joined CPES in Fall 2003, and has focused his research in the areas of voltage regulator modules (VRMs), high frequency POL converters, magnetic design and modeling. He has joined Monolithic Power Systems as an Analog IC Designer.
Yan enjoys table tennis, fishing, and traveling.
