Congratulating CPES graduate - Yi Sun

Yi Sun completed his M.S. program in December 2008.  His thesis, "Modeling and Design of Digitally Controlled Voltage Regulator Modules," is available online to CPES Principal Plus, Principal and Associate members via password access.

Yi was born in April 1980 in Nanjing, China. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China in 2002, and 2005, respectively, both in electrical engineering. He began his M.S. study at the Center for Power Electronics Systems (CPES), Virginia Tech, in August, 2005, and completed his work in December 2008.  In January 2009, Yi joined Linear Technology Corporation in Milpitas, CA, as an Application Engineer in the Power Products group.

Yi enjoys life with soccer, basketball, and reading.
