Congratulating CPES graduate - Honggang Sheng

Honggang Sheng completed his Ph.D. program in Spring 2009. His dissertation, "A High Power Density Three-level Parallel Resonant Converter for Capacitor Charging," is available online to CPES Principal Plus, Principal and Associate members via password access.
Honggang received his B.S. in electrical engineering from Xian Jiaotong University, Xian, China in 1998, and his M.S. degree in electrical engineering from South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China in 2003. He began his Ph.D. study at the Center for Power Electronics Systems (CPES) at Virginia Tech in August, 2004, and completed his study in April 2009. In May 2009, he joined Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) in San Jose, CA, as an Application Engineer.
Honggang likes to travel and play soccer and basketball with friends.
