Julu Sun completed his Ph.D. program in December 2008. His dissertation, "Investigation of Alternative Power Architectures for CPU Voltage Regulators," is available online to CPES Principal Plus, Principal and Associate members via password access.
Julu was born in 1975 in Anhui, China. He received his B.S. degree from Zhejiang University in 1996 and his M.S. degrees from Tsinghua University in 2001, both in electrical engineering. From 1996 to 1998, he worked as a teaching assistant at Nanjing University of Technology in Nanjing, China. From 2001 to 2003, he worked at the Beijing research center of Liteon Electronics as a R&D engineer. He began his Ph.D. study at the Center for Power Electronics Systems (CPES) at Virginia Tech in August 2003, and completed his work in December 2008. In January 2009, Julu joined FSP-Powerland Technology in Nanjing, China.
Julu enjoys reading, playing basketball, and traveling.
