Congratulating CPES graduate - Yan Liang


Yan Liang
 completed her Ph.D. program in December 2008.  Her dissertation, "Integrated Frequency-Selective Conduction Transmission-Line EMI Filter," is now available online to CPES Principal Plus, Principal and Associate members via password access.

Yan Liang was born in January 1978 in Xinji, China. She received her B.S. and M.S. degree from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China in 2000, and 2003 respectively, both in electrical engineering. She began her Ph.D. study at Center for Power Electronics Systems (CPES), Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in August, 2003, and completed her work in December 2008.   In January 2009, Yan joined Intersil Corporation in Durham, NC as an Application Engineer.

A wife and mother of 1-year-old daughter, Evelyn, Yan also enjoys reading, baking, running and hiking.
