Established in 1998 as a 5-university National Science Foundation Engineering Research Center (NSF ERC), the Center for Power Electronics Systems (CPES) has been engaged in multi-disciplinary research, covering a spectrum of power electronics technologies, many of which represent the focused effort to develop Integrated Power Electronics Modules (IPEMs). One of the Center's important outputs is our technical publications. To capture the Center's research efforts over the 10-year ERC life cycle, we are compiling our technical papers into a series of research volumes as a valuable resource.

Recent compilation efforts have produced 5 research volumes covering the following areas:

Volume XII: Conducted EMI and Power Electronics: Characterization and Mitigation
Volume XIII: Systems-Based Power Electronics Integration Technology (Book 1)
Volume XIII: Systems-Based Power Electronics Integration Technology (Book 2)
Volume XIV: Distributed Power Systems Front-End Converters: Power Factor Correction and Isolated Converters
Volume XV: Distributed Power Systems: Point-of-Load Converters

CPES members are welcome to access the CPES Research Volume Series via individual user accounts.

Additional efforts are underway to cover the Center's research efforts in high power and semiconductors as well. These volumes are expected to be ready in early 2009.
