Design of DC/DC Converters and Voltage Regulator Modules (VRMs)

- Multi-Phase VRM
-- Transient Modeling and Analysis
-- Magnetic design of multi-phase interleaving including integrated inductor structure, coupling inductors
-- Resonant gate drivers
-- State-of-the-art semiconductor devices
-- Loss analysis
-- Topology comparison and optimization - Isolated high-voltage VRM (48 V) and DC/DC Converters
-- Synchronous rectification
-- Toplogy comparison
-- Resonant / soft-switching converters
-- Integrated magnetics
Additional Information
- Lectures will begin at 8 a.m. each day.
- Continental breakfast will be served in break area near lecture room by 7:30 a.m.
- Short course participants will receive lecture notes on Day One.
