Dr. Bikdash is Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at NC A&T State University. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 1990 and 1993, respectively. He teaches and conducts research in signals and systems with emphasis on controls, power and energy systems and signal processing, computational intelligence, and wind turbines. He has published more than 18 journal papers and 70 conference papers. Dr. Bikdash has supported, advised, and graduated more than 35 M.S. and 10 Ph. D. students.
He is a member of Center for Power Electronics Systems (CPES) funded by NSF, where he develops multi-disciplinary and multi-scale modeling and simulation of power electronics systems, with special emphasis on electro-thermal interaction.
