Z. Rena Huang received the B.A. degree in optoelectronics from Beijing Institute of Technology in 1995, the M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1999 and 2003, respectively. From January 2004 to September 2004, she was a postdoctoral fellow with Microelectronic Packaging Research Center at Georgia Institute of Technology. Since October 2004, she has been with the Electrical, Computer and Systems Engineering Department of RPI, where she holds the rank of Assistant Professor.

Dr. Huang's research interests are in developing new method for device packaging including heat removal for electronic devices and systems. She is member of IEEE and OSA.
