Below is a list of local and national events. We post to this page regularly as official dates are set, so please check this page often for updates.

May

3 - Team Registration Opens
If your team has not registered, do it NOW!

June

Robot Sets and Team Manuals begin to ship
These are all the basic sets of Lego parts and documentation.

August

16 - Field Set-up Kits begin to ship
These include the challenge mats and extra Lego parts to make up the playing field.
31 - Mentorship Application Deadline
The last day to apply to for FLL mentorship program.

September

1 - State Tournament Details Posted
International Team Forum Opens.
11 - Coaches' workshop at Virginia Tech (1-5pm)
Training and assistance for coaches and kids (held at Christiansburg Middle School). Pictures are available in the gallery!
15 - International Challenge Release
The full details of the competiton are made public.
30 - Team Registration extended
The FLL team registration has been extended to October 8, 2004

October

8 - Team Registration Closes
Register your team(s) here before it's too late!
1 - 15 - Tournament Applications Accepted
If your team is ready to compete then register for a tournament in your area. More information will be available soon.

November

13 - Regional Competition
Christiansburg Middle School, located at 1205 Buffalo Drive / Christiansburg, VA 24073. Tentative times are 8:30am - 4:00pm.

December

5 - State Tournament
Blacksburg High School located at Patrick Henry Drive / Blacksburg, VA 24060. Tentative times are 7:30am - 5:00pm.
